Affiliate network is an affiliate working with an advertiser, as a rule, according to the CPA model (cost-per-action, payment for action) and representing a set of Internet resources/platforms (publishers) joined in a network. The service itself is about the placement of banners, links and/or texts on an affiliate resource/landing page from where users/buyers navigate to perform a targeted action on the advertiser's website.

Affiliate program is a form of business cooperation between the seller/advertiser and affiliates (publishers) in the sale of any product or the provision of services. It allows the advertiser to reduce the cost of attracting the end customer and pay only for a specific target action (purchase/sign up).

A publisher is a user/platform/resource signed up in an affiliate network, who places banners, links and/or texts, promotional codes, advertiser's promotions in order to attract buyers to the advertiser's website to carry out a targeted action (purchase/registration)

Rate is the publishers payment amount for the attracted user to the advertiser’s website who performs certain targeted actions (purchase/sign up).
As a rule, the payment amount is a percentage of the order value or a fixed cost.

Promo codes are a tool that encourages the end customer to make a purchase. Usually, the online store distributes promotional codes via its own means like e-mail using the database of signed up users, pop-up windows on the website triggered by certain actions on the IM website).
Recently, the main shop’s goal has become to attract a new audience, and publishers with traffic types like “Promo codes” and “discount and coupon aggregators” can become a very good help in this matter.
The advertiser creates coupons based on their current goals, i.e. a general increase in the number of sales, sales of a certain group of goods/category/brand, etc., and gives coupons to publishers to replace them through an affiliate network.

Banners are a graphic promotional block. The banner may include text, video, static and animated images, call to action. A click on a banner navigates to the advertised website and is monetized.
Banners are downloaded in the advertiser's personal account and the publisher working with the affiliate program can use them to promote the service/product advertised on the banner to attract the end user to the advertiser's website to perform a specific targeted action.

A product feed is a text file in which categories, products and their attributes are listed in tags. This is a more frequent format, so many advertising tools are able to work with it by default. Most often, the data for the XML feed is unloaded by the CMS itself. If new products appear or their characteristics change, the data in the feed will also be updated according to the frequency you set.

Integration and types of integration - the process of transferring information from the advertiser to the affiliate network about the number of clicks from advertisements placed by publishers and the completion of a targeted action by the visitor (order/sign-up). Order information must include the order number, total cost and number of items in the cart.
Integration is configured by the advertiser depending on the technical capabilities and can be of the following types:
1. Java-script code installation on all pages of the advertiser's website
2. API
